DVD
/CD Player

The DVD /CD Player can be used as a standalone player, or as the control unit for CCC ’s Multi-Disc DVD /CD changer (PN#300-0002-01). The player provides four (4) each identical digital video outputs (SDI) and four (4) each identical digital audio outputs (S/PDIF) for noise free distribution to the IFE system.

The unit has been designed and engineered by CCC specifically for VIP aircraft applications. The unique design allows for continuous status feedback (play mode, track, etc.) to the IFE system, and enhanced control capability. The DVD /CD player
is equipped with control and transport functions from the front of the unit, with an informational display (2 rows x 20 segments). C-Stream communication is built-in, which allows for seamless integration with all other components on the CCC IFE/ CMS network, and remote control via CCC switches, remote controls, and touchscreen interface.

5 Disc CD Changer

The 5 Disc CD Changer is used as an extension of CCC ’s DVD /CD Player (PN#300-0001-01). The modular approach allows the Player to effectively work as a combined
6 Disc DVD /CD Changer. The player provides the command and control functions for
all disc drives. The player provides four (4) each identical digital video outputs (SDI) and four (4) each identical audio outputs (S/PDIF) from any one (1) of the discs being played at any one time.

The combined units provide full transport function control and status feedback from
all discs. The digital A/V signals are maintained throughout the distribution path, with no alteration or compression before the output to the cabin IFE system. The combined DVD /CD Player and Changer provide the most effective solution to insure total control and the highest quality Digital Audio/Video.

8 Disc CD Changer

The 8 Disc CD Changer is used as an extension of CCC’s DVD/CD Player (PN#300-0001-01). The modular approach allows the Player to effectively work as a combined 9 Disc DVD/CD Changer. The player provides the command and control functions for all disc drives. The player provides four (4) each identical digital video outputs (SDI) and four (4) each identical audio outputs (S/PDIF) from any one (1) of the discs being played at any one time.

VCR

CCC offers a multi-standard VCR that is designed for easy integration with the CCC
IFE systems. The unit has been modified to accept both 28 VDC and 110-240VAC power supply; C-Stream communication allows for command and control of the unit from anywhere on the C-Stream network; Serial Digital Audio (S/PDIF) and Video (SDI) outputs for noise-free distribution. A conversion circuit and tape/cylinder speed control circuit provides playback capability of VHS tapes recorded anywhere in the world - whether in PAL, SECAM, or NTSC video formats. This unit has been designed to meet
or exceed DO-160D Section 21.

Digital Amplifier

The CCC Digital Amplifier features a powerful 540 Watt (6Ch x 90W @ 4 ohms) DDX amplifier that boasts an efficiency rating of over 87% at maximum power output. This all-digital, high efficiency results in low heat dissipation which allows the components to be packaged in an extremely small (13.4” x 10.2” x 3”) and very lightweight (12 lbs.) enclosure ideal for the considerable size and weight constraints in aircraft. The low heat dissipation enables the amplifier component to be neatly installed without concern for overheating. The unit accepts serial digital inputs which may be available directly from the source equipment (CD/ DVD players) or distributed via the CCC IFE system. Volume and mute functions are controlled at the amplifier via the C-Stream network control interface to the IFE systems. Extensive diagnostics and status feedback make for easy installation and maintenance. The CCC Digital Amplifier offers unparalleled audio amplification quality and efficiency for your aircraft IFE systems.

Subwoofer

The CCC Digital Subwoofer contains an 8” driver powered by an internal 200 Watt Class-D amplifier. The built in digital amplifier and CCC C-Stream network interface
card allows the Subwoofer volume to be controlled remotely without the need of an additional preamp or similar piece of source equipment.

Surround Sound Processor

The CCC Surround Sound Processor ( SSP ) provides a theatre-like experience in the aircraft cabin. It has been designed for easy integration with the CCC digital amplifiers, subwoofers, speakers, and IFE control systems. The SSP is capable of decoding the latest algorithms from Dolby™, DTS™, and THX ™. The SSP accepts either digital or analog audio inputs, and provides both digital and analog audio outputs. Extensive diagnostics and setup menus can be accessed directly on the unit, or remotely via the IFE touchscreen or remote control interface.

Speakers

The Two-Way Speaker is a high quality loudspeaker that contains two drivers and a low frequency tuning port. One driver is a 4.5” woofer, the second is a 1” tweeter.
The port provides tuning for a better frequency response in the lower frequency region. These aspects provide for a compact loudspeaker that is open, transparent, and renders faithfully the music and sound it is provided.
